🎄 It’s Back — The Queenstown Christmas Show 2026!
☀️🎄 When the Christmas Star that has crowned Queenstown’s tree for years mysteriously disappears, five young adventurers set off on a quest to find it before Christmas can begin! Following a trail of clues across some of the Wakatipu’s most iconic spots, from the farm to the lake to the top of Coronet Peak, they meet some very interesting characters along the way and discover what truly makes Christmas special 🌟.
This year is extra special as we celebrate 20 years of the Queenstown Christmas Show 🎉. Packed with singing, dancing, aerialists, gymnasts, kapa haka and, of course, the much-loved Remarkables Men’s Ballet, it’s a festive adventure for the whole family that celebrates the people, traditions and treasured memories that have made this show part of Christmas in our community for two decades. 🏔️🎅🏼

✨ Make a Wish on the Christmas Star
Know someone who deserves a bit of magic? A club that needs new gear, a volunteer who never stops giving, a neighbour who’s had a tough year? Make a wish for them, and with help from local businesses we’ll grant as many as we can and reveal them at the shows. Everyone who makes a wish goes in the draw to win a Christmas Star Family Experience. It’s free, and you can make as many wishes as you like. Wishes close Friday 20 November at 11.59pm.

Celebrating 20 years of the Queenstown Christmas Show
When the very first Christmas Show opened in 2007, tickets were $10 for adults. Twenty years on, they still are $10. Kids are still $5, and under 5s are still free. That’s a choice we’ve made on purpose, every year, so that every family in our community can be part of the magic. This year, for our 20th show, there are three easy ways to share the magic with locals who need it most.
